The Model 65 is the production version of what we created as our tester kit in late 2011. The 65 is semi-retired and is now on SEO (special edition only) status, so we make it occasionally in limited production. Made in USA at our North Carolina facility. This is a special production in our antique glass acrylic, in a batch of 50 pieces. *Consider that micro-fracturing of the interior surface may occur, changing the appearance in certain spots over time.

The 65 is the smaller of the two Stabilis desk pens, and uses the smaller #5 HP Steel or 14K nib.

There is a flat side on the barrel which allows the pen to be placed on a desk without rolling. This spot also contains the blind engraving "Franklin-Christoph Model 65".  The caps post deeply on both pens for balanced writing.

Featuring our special block threads at the end of the grip section. The block threads are out of the way of your fingers, and smooth to the touch as it is. Placing the threads at this spot also limits the amount of air within the cap chamber, thereby helping to eliminate dry out. The design of our block threads also releases the air when you unscrew so as to not create a suction effect on the ink.

Each pen can be filled via long or short international cartridge, by converter, or via eye dropper. We recommend a little silicone grease on the threads if you use as an eye dropper. Best on section to barrel threads, and nib housing to grip section threads for maximum protection.

Shipped in a zippered leather pouch in lieu of a gift box.
