This is the second piece in the Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind series in which we've worked with an Italian artisan firm. We decided to do these one at a time but are releasing Fire and Water together. Like Fiamme - the Onde d'Acqua di Christoph piece is offered either with sterling overlay making the form of waves, or with same including hard baked enamel within the sterling in shades of blue. These are offered on either a black base pen or a blue. This pen makes a nice fusion of American and Italian design. Here along with the Fiamme di Christoph we introduce for the first time hard baked enamel in the color of water. Hard baked enamel is found on exclusive LE pens through history. It requires heat of 800°C - 850° C (1400-1550° Fahrenheit) and creates a hard and colorful surface. We don't number these pieces, but the production will remain intrinsically rare to less than 20 pieces of each.

♦ The Modified 03 features a solid one piece cap. This design we also often use for our maki-e limited edition pens. So the cap is slightly shorter, with no finial or disk as compared to the regular 03, which means no clip option.
♦ Iterum is Latin for "again" or "once more" as the Model 03 is designed in the spirit of our original Model 01 IPO. Straight sides with very subtle tapers down toward the ends. Mostly flat top and bottom with just a hint of the normal Franklin-Christoph bevel on each end.
♦ Threads on the end of the grip for comfort. This also allows for precision posting so there is no creaking or wobbling when the pen is posted.
