This is the first edition of a collaboration with Sey Pen out of Japan. Using our Model 66, this Bamboo Maki-e pen is limited to 10 pieces. Now Sold out.
We plan another edition of these, though it might have subtle changes.
From Sey: "bamboo thicket is drawn in urushi on a layer of tin, as Sumie. The depth of the layers of branches is expressed by shading."
Based on the fully round version of our Model 66, this is a long pen with dimensions:
capped length = 6.30"
nib tip to barrel end = 6.10"
barrel diameter near cap = .55"
grip section smallest diameter = .42"
While it is technically a pen that posts, we don't recommend it to be posted.
