We are proud to have been selected to produce the 2026 Black Pen Society fountain pen edition this year. The annual meeting of the BPS is always Saturday evening at the DC Pen Show. The club is loosely held, and mastered by the Grand Poobah aka Paul Erano. Our Scott Franklin is a high ranking member, and they have had lots of fun over the years.
For this edition we selected both the Model 31 and the Model 40M. We used Delrin for the material - a very hard yet light weight substance, and left in the matte finish. On it we have engraved various Ravens - the mascot of the Black Pen Society. Here is featured the Model 31 version, which has a clip, a traditional cap to barrel ratio, a 1/4" recessed nib. The additional engraving has "Black Pen Society" engraved around the base of the cap, and "BPS 2026 * USA 250" engraved around the end of the barrel.

The Model 31 fountain pen encompasses features from several F-C models. The grip section is like that of the 40 Panther, the silhouette is a slightly slimmer version of the 19, precision posting like the 20, 45, and 03, cut grooves and recessed nib like the 20.
