Our HPSteel Cursive Calligraphy nibs give you a nicely defined line, with broad downstrokes and thinner sidestrokes to create that elegant calligraphic flare to your handwriting. These nibs are not iridium tipped and then hand ground, but rather start with just a wider piece of steel which are then smoothed and polished. The tips will not last forever as iridium will - just a couple of decades.
Either can be used for regular cursive writing or true calligraphy. The 1.1mm is like our broad stub, where the 1.5 mm tip is thicker and puts down a lot of ink. Fits all Franklin-Christoph models that take the larger #6 nib: Models 02 , 19, 33, 40 Panther, 66, and more soon including the coming Model 03. $25.00 |
