7. Settelaghi SunWriter Sterling / Acrylic Ballpoint - $89.90
These ballpoints feature a
.925 sterling silver barrel, with contoured acrylic grip
and acrylic high band sections. The clip is

10. Franklin-Christoph Original Model 40 Creme' FP -
Choice of steel or 18K nib. - $150 or $240.
One of our early Made in
the USA pieces, with a custom machined spring loaded
clip. Cartridge/Converter filled.
This one differs slightly from most of the originals, as
they sold with creme' sections. We outfit a handful with
black sections for clients with that preference. Shown
with a nice Schmidt steel nib in medium for $150. Or you
can opt for our original solid 18K nib with rhodium
plating for $240.

11. Vintage Montblanc 146 Fountain Pen 14K Broad Oblique
Stub - $399
Not sure of the exact
dating on this, but at least 25 years old, maybe 30. Has
the 14K nib in a rare broad oblique stub. No box or
papers of course. Is in very good condition, no dings or
significant scratches. Just light usage surface
scratches. Piston filled.
Commonly knows as left
footed oblique - usually better for right handers but
depends on how you cant your hand when writing. Look
down at your left foot and that's the angle of the top
of the nib.

14. OMAS L'Aqua di Bologna Blue/Green Fountain Pen - 14K

Nice light weight OMAS in
an interesting color. Has a touch more green tint that
this pic came out. Has the feel of a smallish pen, but
with a thick enough grip that it is comfortable for
bigger hands too. This pen was used lightly but appears

23. Tree Ring Pens - Character Wood Fountain Pen -
Medium - $275.00 - SOLD
From our friend Dave
Wager in Missoula, Montana, we present this special
ballpoint. Dave is an arborist in the business of old
growth forest restoration, and donates a generous
portion of each Tree Ring Pen sale to fund organizations working to
restore North America's old growth forests. Each
tree reveals history to us as it adds a new ring of wood
with each year's growth.
This Douglas Fir tree was born in the
late 1800's near Missoula, and was a small sapling in
1886
(this date is marked near the pith, the central core of
the tree representing the first year of growth). The
dark spot on the end is the bark, the outermost layer of
the tree. With the pen is included a card detailing
rings that indicate events such as droughts, the 1930's
dust bowl, and La Nina in 1998. This character
wood FP, has a mark on it which indicate branches formed
on the tree leaving a knot beginning in 1892.
Tree Ring Pens hold U.S.
Patent #7467904, so you won't find anything else quite
like it. Plus, each tree is unique and tells it's own
story. This one was thinned in 2010 from an unnaturally
dense forest to reduce the likelihood of catastrophic
fire, protect old growth trees, and restore the forest
to a natural condition.
This fountain pen comes
with a cartridge and a converter, a med ium two-tone
steel nib, and a cap that posts on each end with
threads. Laminated information card, wood display and
gift box included.
Note about the nib
- upon special request, we can outfit this nib with our
high performance steel nib, in fine, medium, broad, or
specialty nibs - at no extra charge.
Note from Scott - I
have one of these in my personal collection dating from
1879 to 2010. It is the only thing in our office older
than the original company. ;-)

25. Ferrari da Varese Lady Sterling FP 14K Medium
Nib - $245 - SOLD
You may have seen us sell
in here the more common Settelaghi version, but this is
the Ferrari version in a solid sterling grain pattern.
Comes with a small burgundy leather pouch, with papers.
This is the one Montblanc copied to make their little
Mozart fountain pens, one year after the Ferrari came
out. Cartridge only. New condition.
